2 Hours

Dublin City Moorings, Custom House Quay, IFSC, D1

Please bring one of the following:

  • The confirmation email on your mobile phone.
  • If you prefer, a paper copy of the voucher can be printed by clicking the link on your confirmation email.

We advise that you bring the following;

– Clothes and footwear for wearing on the kayak  (These will get wet!)

– A towel

– Change of clothes for afterwards

– If you have waterproof clothing or a wetsuit you can bring them to use if you wish

We have some splash proof trousers available for use on site should you wish to use them.

Please come ready for kayaking! Do not arrive in your best clothes, jeans or high heels.

We have customer changing facilities on site but try to come wearing what you will kayak in as this cuts down the preperation time and gives everyone more time on the water.

What do I wear? (you don't need a wetsuit)

In good weather you should try to bring:

Shorts or sports leggings

T-shirt, sports top or a light long sleeved top.

Some form of foot wear. Your feet will get splashed so don't wear your best suede shoes.

Bring a change of footwear for going home in.

In poor weather you might want to bring:

Fleece or light jacket (avoid cotton if possible)

Gloves (again avoid cotton)

The bouyancy aid and splash proof tops and bottoms we provide will protect you from the weather and help to keep you warm however we are kayaking so your backside is still likely to get wet.
That said it is extremely unlikely that you will tip the kayak over and end up in the water as our kayaks are very stable and the water we operate in is flat.
Sun screen is advised even on overcast days as the reflection of the water increases your exposure.

We’ll kit you out with a boat and all the relevant safety gear and you’ll be on your way!

We will provide you with :

  • bouyancy aid,

  • a paddle,

  • splash proof top,

  • splash proof bottoms.
