Our river trip is the only way to actually paddle under the famous O’Connell and Ha’penny bridges! City Kayaking is a fantastic way to see Dublin’s most famous landmark sites from a unique angle!
The trips are led by our experienced local guides and our kayaks are very stable "sit on top", ideal for beginners. The experience takes about 2 hours of which at least 90 minutes are on the water.
All our kayaks are doubles and triples. We think it's much more fun with a minimum of two people in each kayak but if you really want to fly solo we can put you in a small double kayak. All prices listed are per person. We run our guided river trips from our pontoon by the Liffey Boardwalk, between the Ha'Penny and the O'Connell bridge, in the very center of the beating heart of the capital.

Please note we have no changing facilities on site so it's important you come prepared to paddle.
You are extremely unlikely to fall into the water however your legs might get splashed as you paddle.
Please wear, shorts or leggings on the bottom and dress for the weather on the day from the waist up.
DO NOT WEAR DENIM JEANS, COTTON TRACK SUIT BOTTOMS, CHINOS OR ANY FABRIC THAT HOLDS WATER.

Our guides will meet you at the gangway gate on the Liffey Boardwalk, between the Ha'Penny and O'Connell bridges.
BE AWARE THERE ARE NO TOILETS ON SITE
Under 16’s must be accompanied on the water at all times by an adult.
MINIMUM AGE is 12.
Cancellations must be made in writing no less than 10 days before the activity is due to take place. Non-attendance will result in the full amount being forfeited. However if you would like to reschedule the trip to a later date we will be able to move you with just 2 days notice.
City Kayaking reserves the rights to cancel activities at any time without prior notice when we believe it is necessary for safety reasons (e.g. unsafe weather conditions). In this case, customers will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund.
